ANTI-SOCIAL-BEHAVIOUR - CHAMERLAIN CLOSE

On THURSDAY 08/01/2026 Clementswood SNT PCSO ALEEM completed bike patrol in Chamberlain Close Ilford. PCSO ALEEM noticed a male who was sleeping in the car park who was asked to move on and advised to visit the welcome centre on Green Lane. After information given by the residents on Chamberlain Close after a street briefing completed by PCSO BUGG information of a van parked in the area through the early mornings and late evenings. The vehicle was noticed in the path of Chamberlain Close PCSO 7002EA ALEEM called a police unit who attended Chamberlain Close. As a result the male and the van was stopped and searched in the car park. After checks were completed on the males name and the vehicle the male was found as a disqualified drive. The male was asked to leave the area and for the owner of the vehicle to pick up his vehicle as soon as they can as the residents are having issues as the vehicle is causing an obstruction.
